Active Query Builder ActiveX Edition 1.3.5 released

We're glad to announce the new minor version of Active Query Builder. You can download the newest version from the download page.

What's new in the Active Query Builder ActiveX Edition version 1.3.5?

  • The new ParametersCount and Parameters[i] properties are added to retrieve the list of parameters. You can read the ParameterCount property to recieve the number of parameters in the query; you can get access to the list of parameters using the Parameters[i] property.
  • The new OnError(Code, Message) event is added. Now you can handle all the Active Query Builder internal errors by writing a handler for this event.
  • The new EditConnectionString_Parent method is added to pass the HWND parameter to the ADO Connection settings modal window.
  • TacQueryBuilder: The new TablesFont, SelectListFont, StructureTreeFont and ObjectsTreeFont properties are added to change fonts (and their charsets) used in each part of the TacQueryBuilder component.
  • ANSI-quotation is implemented in the MySQL Syntax.
  • Other minor bugfixes and improvements.

Testimonials

We have been using Active Query Builder for over a year and must say that both the product and support have been outstanding!

We chose Active Query Builder due to its flexibility and features, but have been truly pleased by its power and hidden capabilities. ...

In summary Active Query Builder provides excellent components, great support and a very flexible feature set. It has allowed us to provide features to our end users that I did not think would be possible in the first release of our new tools and in a timeframe that was much shorter than planned. I would recommend that anyone dealing with databases in the .Net world should be aware of this component and its capabilities!
